PROMOTION FOR LONG-TIME

 KISTLER O’BRIEN EMPLOYEE

 

Bethlehem, Pa., – (September 10, 2009) – Veteran Kistler O’Brien Fire Protection employee, Kevin Readinger, of Bath, Pa., has been promoted to director of inspection and maintenance services.

            A Kistler O’Brien employee for more than 23 years, Readinger worked as a service employee and field technician at the start of his career for the Bethlehem-based company. More recently, he was standard products service manager for 10 years prior to being promoted to operations manager for the Sprinkler Systems Division, a position he has held for the past 3.5 years.

            In his new position, Readinger will move from day-to-day operations management responsibilities for the Sprinkler Systems Division to full operations management responsibilities for all of inspection and maintenance services which includes that division as well as the Standard Products Division and the Fire Alarm Division.

Readinger holds certification in the Pennsylvania Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (PaFED) and is currently pursuing several levels of certification in the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) which provides universally recognized certification for individuals in engineering technology and related disciplines and is a recognized and respected certification in the fields of fire protection
