ABC/BC Dry Chemical Fire Extingusihers

ABC/BC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers use a monoammonium phosphate dry chemical to insulate Class A fires by melting and clinging to the heated surface. They also smother and break the chain reaction on Class B fires and are non-conductors of electricity.  Class A fires include combustible materials such as paper, wood, cardboard, and most plastics.  Class B fires include flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, kerosene, grease and oil.  Class C fires include electrical equipment, such as appliances, wiring, circuit breakers and outlets.
