Designed ideally for use on combustible metal fires, Amerex’s Class D Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers are fitted with a “soft-flow” extension applicator to keep operator away from extreme heat and toxic fumes caused by burning material. The applicator can be quickly removed (to provide a straight stream of chemical) when greater range, a narrow discharge pattern or a lobbing effect is required. Comes with a special corrosion-resistant yellow (Class D), color-coded paint finish. FM approved.
